After all the speculations, it was finally confirmed that Jeep will be working on a Grand Cherokee model that will be powered by the Hellcat engine and now, it looks like we even have a date to look forward to.
New rumors are now suggesting the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat model could possibly be arriving in July 2017. Of course, it might not be called the Grand Cherokee Hellcat when it arrives as Jeep did say that they will not be using the Hellcat badge but let’s call it that for now since no name has been announced yet.
As promised, the powerful Jeep Grand Cherokee will be coming in with a 6.2-liter supercharged engine which delivered about 707hp when it was fitted under the hood of the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat. We do not know if the output will remain the same on the Grand Cherokee but it will definitely be offering more than the Grand Cherokee SRT model which delivers about 475hp right now.
