We were more than happy to hear about Jeep thinking about releasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee model that will come running on a Hellcat engine. Who would not be happy to hear that the Grand Cherokee will be getting more power?
While Jeep has not made any confirmation yet, it is believed that Jeep is working on a Jeep Grand Cherokee model that will come with a 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine that will push out about 707hp. This is also the engine that Dodge is currently using to power up the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
The Hellcat engine will allow the Jeep Grand Cherokee to go from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds. New rumors now suggest that we might see the other Jeep models get the Hellcat engine as well but since we have not heard from Jeep yet, it is best of we can take it with a pinch of salt.
It is believed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Hellcat engine will be arriving this Summer.
