There is no doubt that the Porsche Macan was one of the best crossovers in the market but that was before Jaguar decided to release a crossover of their own. Now that the Jaguar F-Pace is here, is the Porsche Macan still the best?
The Porsche Macan currently runs on a 2.0-liter engine that will be delivering about 252hp and 273lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch auto transmission. The Macan will also be returning about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
The Jaguar F-Pace will be powered by a 2.0-liter I-4 engine that will be delivering about 180hp and 318lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed ZF electronic auto transmission. Safety features that will come as standard will include the tire pressure monitor, traction control, stability control and more.
The Jaguar F-Pace will retail for $40,990 while the Porsche Macan will retail for $47,500.
