The Porsche Macan has always been one of the top crossovers in the market. Will newcomer Jaguar F-Pace be able to take on the Macan?
Well, the Jaguar F-Pace might be late to the party but that also means that they had more time to sit and observe and see what works and what does not and it definitely does seems like they have been watching.
The Jaguar F-Pace not only looks stunning but it also has everything that makes a crossover work. Powering it is a 2.0 liter I-4 engine that will be delivering about 180hp and 318lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed ZF electronic transmission. Safety features like tire pressure monitor, traction control, and stability control will also come as standard features.
The Porsche Macan, on the other hand, will come with a 2.0-liter engine that will be delivering about 252hp and 273lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch auto transmission and will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
The Jaguar F-Pace will retail for $40,900 while the Porsche Macan will retail for $47,500.
