Jaguar might be late to the SUV party but it will be making sure that everybody hears its arrival.
The Jaguar F-Pace will be coming in with two engine options. The base model will be powered by the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine. That engine will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission and will deliver about 180hp and 318lb ft of torque.
As amazing as that is, we are more interested in the other engine option, the 3.0 liter V6 Supercharger engine that will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission and will deliver about 340hp and 332lb ft of torque. With the V6 engine, the Jaguar F-Pace will be returning about 18mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway.
One of the concern Jaguar customers had about the V6 engine was that it was going to be too loud but Jaguar ensure that they will be working to reduce the noise of the engine.
However, they did ensure that the Jaguar F-Pace will still roar and that whatever we hear will be real. We know where Jaguar stand when it comes to fake engine noise.
