The Hyundai Elantra has just gotten a new and more toned down exterior design but that is not the only changes Hyundai made on the Hyundai Elantra. With all the upgrades, how will the Hyundai Elantra perform against the Honda Civic?
The Hyundai Elantra will be coming in with a 2.0 liter Direct Gasoline injection engine that will be delivering about 147hp and 132Nm of torque. The Hyundai Elantra will be able to return about 26mpg in the city and 36mpg on the highway. The 2017 models also have more interior space to offer. Some fans were hoping for a powertrain upgrade but that did not happen.
The Honda Civic will be running on a 2.0-liter engine that will be delivering about 158hp and 138Nm of torque. The Honda Civic will return about 27mpg in the city and 40mpg on the highway. Pair that all with the new design and we have one formidable rival.
