The Hyundai Elantra Sport will be coming in to compete with models like the Volkswagen Jetta GLI and from what we know of the Hyundai Elantra Sport right now, it looks like Volkswagen might want to watch out.
The know that the Hyundai Elantra Sport will be coming in with a 1.6 liter four cylinder engine that will be delivering about 200hp and 190lb ft of torque when it arrives. The engine will also come with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
The Hyundai Elantra Sport will be borrowing most of its design features from the Avanta Sport and we definitely have not complained there. We know that the Hyundai Avante Sport was also offered the extreme package but Hyundai did not mention if the same offer will be available on the Hyundai Elantra Sport or not.
Do you think the Hyundai Elantra Sport has what it takes to take on the Volkswagen Jetta GLi?
