Well, they are not showing them yet but it looks like it will only be a matter of time before we see the Honda Ridgeline overtake the GMC Canyon.
The new Honda Ridgeline was released in July and within that month, they manage to sell an impressive 3518 units of the Honda Ridgeline. The GMC Canyon sold about 3532 in the same front.
For a truck that has been teased for now being a real truck, that number is pretty impressive and this is just the start of it all. With Honda’s reputation for being reliable and what the Honda Ridgeline has to offer, things should only get better for them.
The new Honda Ridgeline will be coming in with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be delivering about 280hp and 262lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 19mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. The Honda Ridgeline will also be fitted with safety features like back-up camera, ESC, ABS, Driveline Traction Control and more.
The base model will retail for $29,475.
