Honda has been teasing about the upcoming Honda Ridgeline for some time now and it looks like they are done teasing now as they took the covers off the new truck at the Detroit Auto Show this week.
Besides borrowing some design feature from the Honda Pilot, the Honda Ridgeline will also come in with the global light truck platform, the same platform that the Pilot was fitted on.
That is not all. The Honda Ridgeline will come powered by the same Honda Pilot engine. Under the hood of the Ridgeline is a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission.
Besides getting an exterior makeover, they also gave the interior some much-needed upgrade which will include features like push button start, tri-zone climate controls, leather trim, and an 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen infotainment system that will now support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The 2017 Honda Ridgeline is expected to arrive this spring.
