Earlier rumor suggests that the Honda CR-V will be coming in with a new design that will be based on the Honda Pilot. Seeing as both of them are SUVs, it made sense that that would be the path Honda chooses but it looks like Honda has some other ideas in mind.
Instead of the Honda Pilot, the Honda CR-V will be taking its design inspiration from the popular Honda Civic. The consumers responded well to the new Honda Civic design which probably convince Honda that the Civic design is the way to go for the Honda CR-V.
The Honda CR-V will also be riding on the Honda Civic platform. Under the hood should be a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine. Honda might also offer the 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine as well.
We are expecting to see the Honda CR-V at the LA Auto Show this year.
