Toyota was clearly one step ahead of the Honda CR-V when it comes to offering their customers a hybrid option. They brought out the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid last year but even with all of that, Toyota still can’t seem to kick CR-V off the throne.
When Toyota release the Toyota RAV4 hybrid, it was reported that the arrival of the hybrid model had helped increase the Toyota RAV4 sales by 10%. While all of that was happening, Honda was relaxing on their throne thinking about what they will be offering on the 2018 model instead.
Despite all the rumors, Honda did not release a hybrid version of the Honda CR-V last year but the Honda CR-V still managed to hold on to that top spot. It is believed that the 2018 model will come with a hybrid option. With the arrival of the hybrid model, does the Toyota RAV4 even stand a chance?
