On paper, the Honda CR-V is one of the best SUV to own in the market but if that still the same in the real world?
Motortrend tested out a few models in the market and had just released their Real-World MPG result. According to MotorTrend, the Honda CR-V should be returning about 27mpg in the city and 33mpg on the highway but in reality, it only returned about 21.9mpg in the city.
Although far from what Honda has reported, they still managed to nap the second spot beating seven other models.
MotorTrend also reveals that with the engine Honda has to offer, they are currently the second when it comes to the quickest in its class losing to the Jeep Cherokee. The new Honda CR-V will come running on a 1.5 liter four engine that will be delivering about 190hp and 179lb ft of torque. There is also a 2.4 liter I-4 engine being offered.
