GMC has just given the GMC Acadia an upgrade. How will the Toyota Highlander fare compare to the 2017 GMC Acadia?
The GMC Acadia will be coming in with a 2.5 liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The FWD vehicle will be delivering about 194hp and 190lb ft of torque and will return about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. The GMC Acadia will also come with some optional features like the Dual skyscape sunroof, an 8inch display screen and more.
The Toyota Highlander, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.7 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. The Toyota Highlander will also come with safety features like glass breakage sensor, dusk sensing he alights, emergency brake assist and more.
The base GMC Acadia will retail for $29,995 while the base Toyota Highlander will retail for $40,228.
