The Ford Ranger will not be arriving in the US so soon but we know that it is coming. Based on what the Ford Ranger is already offering is Australia right now, we think that the Toyota Tacoma might want to watch out.
The current Toyota Tacoma will come with a 2.7 liter four cylinder engine that will be mated to a five-speed or six-speed auto transmission. Those looking for more can also go for the 3.5 liter V6 engine model which will come mated to a six-speed manual or auto transmission.
The Toyota Tacoma will return about 18mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway. It will need 7.7seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 113mph.
The Ford Ranger, on the other hand, will come with a 2.2-liter turbo engine. Those looking for more can opt for the 3.2-liter turbo engine which will be offering about 147kW and 470Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission.
The Ford Ranger will come fitted with features like cruise control, leather steering, reversing camera, bucket front seats, auto climate control and more. It also got a five-star safety rating from ANCAP.
