The Ford Ranger used to be part of Ford’s US line up but it was taken out of the market due to low sales. While it did not make it here in the US, the Ford Ranger was still a strong rival in some other market like Australia.
With the sudden increase in truck demands, it is said that Ford is working to offer a truck of their own and that the truck that Ford will be offering will be none other than the Ford Ranger.
This rumor started after spies spotted the Ford Ranger getting tested on the road here in the US. So when will we see the truck? Well, it is believed that Ford will start producing the Ford Ranger after the Ford Focus and Ford C-Max contract ends at the Michigan plant as they plan to use the plant to build the Ford Ranger which means we would probably be seeing it after 2017.
