Most people believe that we would soon see Ford offer a new truck here in the US to compete with models like the Chevrolet Colorado, Toyota Tacoma, and the Honda Ridgeline but what we do not know is the model that Ford plan to offer.
Ford have not announced it yet but many believe that their truck of choice will be the Ford Ranger. The truck did not do so well in the past but the rise in demand for trucks means that things could be different for the Ford Ranger this time around.
Spies have also spotted the Ford Ranger getting tested here in the US. If it is true, it is likely that the Ford Ranger will be built at their Michigan plant. Production is said to start next year after the contract for Ford Focus and Ford C-Max ends.
