We thought that the Ford Fiesta ST model will remain the fastest Fiesta model in the market now that Ford has confirmed that there will not be a Ford Fiesta RS model but that is not the case as it looks like Ford does have plans for an even faster ST model.
Ford announce at the Geneva Motor Show that they will be releasing a new Ford Fiesta ST200 model that will be more powerful that the standard ST model. Under the hood is a 197hp engine with 214lb ft of torque. With the over boost, the engine will be offering about 212hp and 236lb ft of torque.
With the new engine, the Ford Fiesta ST200 model will be able to go from 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds which means it will beat the Ford Fiesta ST model by 0.2seconds.
To separate it from the standard ST model, the Ford Fiesta ST200 will be fitted with a set of 17inch alloy wheels, Recaro bucket seats, and a few more upgrades.
