The Ford Fiesta ST have been holding on to the Fastest Fiesta title for some time. It was originally speculated that the Fiesta ST will be losing its title when Ford releases the Ford Fiesta RS model but Ford later came out to say that no RS badge Fiesta is on the way.
Does that mean that the Fiesta ST will be able to keep that title for a little longer? Not really. Ford showed off the new Ford Fiesta ST200 which will be coming in to sit above the Ford Fiesta ST.
The vehicle will come running on a 197hp engine with 214lb ft of torque. That is not the best it has to offer either. With over boost, the Ford Fiesta ST200 will be able to deliver about 212hp and 236lb ft of torque allowing it to go from 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds beating the Ford Fiesta ST by 6.2 seconds.
