There were some complaints about the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty’s fuel tank being too small. Well, Ford definitely has been listening as they have now announced that they will be giving the 2017 model a larger tank.
The current model comes with a 37.5-gallon tank. The 2017 model, on the other hand, will come with a 48gallon tank. The larger take should help increase the distance the Ford F-Series Super Duty could travel before the drivers need to fill it up again.
Not only will it be getting a larger fuel tank but the Ford F-Series Super Duty will also be shedding some extra pounds with the use of aluminium. This should help further improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicle.
Under the hood is a 6.2 liter V8 petrol engine that will be delivering about 385hp. Diesel drivers will be offered the 6.7-liter diesel V8 engine that will be delivering about 440hp
