The 2017 Ford F-150 will be even more fuel efficient now with the addition of a new feature. Ford has now announce that their 2017 Ford F-150 will be coming in with a new start-stop tech that will help the truck save on fuel.
The system was offered on the 2.7 liter EcoBoost model in the past but now the features will come as standard on all model. The question they have to answer now is how much difference the system will be making when it comes to fuel efficiency. The Start-stop feature can be turned off. All the driver need to do is switch it to tow mode or four-wheel-drive.
Ford said that they are still working to get the fuel economy certificate with the EPA so we will probably have to wait a little longer for the numbers. Now that Ford is expanding the reach of the start-stop system, will we start seeing the system on some of the other 3.5 liter EcoBoost-powered models as well?
