The engine will be offering about 280hp and 262lb ft of torque and will be returning about 19mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway. Features like DRL, stability control, and traction control will all come as standard safety features.
The Ford Explorer, on the other hand, will come with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed shiftable auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 190hp and 255lb ft of torque and will return about 17mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway. The Explorer will come with safety features like traction control, DRL, stability control as well as an engine immobilizer.
The Honda Pilot will retail for $38,755 while the Ford Explorer will retail for $55,575.
