The Ford Explorer, on the other hand, will come with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed shiftable auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 190hp and 255lb ft of torque and will return about 17mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway. The Explorer will come with safety features like traction control, DRL, stability control as well as an engine immobilizer.
The Honda Pilot will retail for $38,755 while the Ford Explorer will retail for $55,575.
