The base model will be fitted with safety features like tire pressure monitoring, traction control, emergency braking assist and more.
The 2017 Ford Explorer will be coming in with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be delivering about 290hp and 255lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed shiftable auto transmission and it will be delivering about 17mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway. The base model will come with safety features like traction control, stability control, DRL and more.
The Chevrolet Traverse base model will retail for $37,400 while the Ford Explorer base model will retail for $31,160.
