We all saw this coming but the announcement of the five final special edition Dodge Viper just reminded us of how close it is to the end. Of course, this is not the first time Dodge is sending the Dodge Viper off but this time, it does feel like it is not going to come back anymore.
To celebrate Dodge Viper’s 25th years in the market, FCA introduced five new special edition Dodge Viper models starting with the 1:28 Edition ACR. There will only be 28units of this model. It will be coming in with a black exterior with red ACR stripes. The color scheme will continue on the inside as well.
GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, On the other hand, will be painted blue and white like the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition. There is also the black and graphite metallic model called the VoooDoo II Edition ACR. FCA will be building 31units of this special edition model.
The name would have already given it off. The Snakeskin Edition GTC will come with a custom snakeskin pattern exterior. There will be 25units of this around next year.
Last but not least is the Dodge Dealer Edition ACR which will only be available at the Tomball Dodge of Tomball and Roanoke Dodge of Roanoke dealers.
Now that the Dodge Viper will be leaving, what do you think Dodge will bring in to fill up that spot?
