The finalist for the North American Car of the Year awards has been announced and the new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has been nominated for the ‘Utility’ category but they will have to fight their way to the top as the other nominees are not going to go down without a fight.
The other finalist includes the Mazda CX-9 as well as the Jaguar F-Pace, two models that have been getting a lot of attention this year as well.
The Chrysler Pacifica will come running on a 3.6 liter V6 engine that will return about 18mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway. The base model will retail for $28,595. The Mazda CX-9, on the other hand, will return about 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway but it will come with a bigger price tag of $31,520.
The results will be announced next year at the NAIAS 2017 in Detroit. Who do you think deserves the title?
