The numbers are in for the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 model. Chevrolet has just revealed the new top speed of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 model and you will be impressed by what Chevrolet has to offer this time around.
According to Chevrolet, the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 which will be powered by a 6.2 liter LT4 V8 engine that will be offering about 650hp and 650lb ft of torque. This is the same engine that Chevrolet is using to power up the Corvette Z06 model. Thanks to the engine, the Camaro ZL1 now has a top speed of 198hp just 2hp shy of the 200hp mark.
Chevrolet added that this is no gimmick and that the showroom stock model will be able to hit the same top speed when it arrives. With the engine, the ZL1 will only need 11.4 seconds to over a quarter-miles.
The new Chevrolet ZL1 Coupe model will retail for $63,435. Opt for the 10 speed auto transmission the vehicle will cost you $65,830.
