We know that the Mustang have been doing better in terms of sales compared to the Chevrolet Camaro but is it really better on the tracks. Well, we still do not for sure but the new lap time at the Virginia International Raceway and Lightning Lap might give us a rough idea.
The Ford Mustang GT manage to complete the Lightning Lap at about 3.05.2 on average. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro V6 1LE, on the other hand, managed to score 3:04.0 at the Virginia International Raceway which indicates that the Camaro V6 1LE could be slightly faster than the popular Ford Mustang GT model.
Of course, this is just a rough comparison but it does give us an idea about where these two models are at right now. Despite it all, we do not think this will make people want to go out and get the Camaro instead of the Mustang.
