J.D. Power has just released the results of their 2016 U.S Tech Experience Index, a new study that ranks vehicles based on the customer’s overall experience with the tech in the vehicle.
Of all the winners that were named, only one model belongs to the US and that is the Chevrolet Camaro. The Camaro was ranked the highest in their segment for the best user experience in terms of tech.
The vehicles were all rated based on the techs they were fitted with. The techs were divided into five categories, Collision protection, comfort & convenience, driving assistance, entertainment & connectivity as well as navigation.
The Chevrolet Camaro was rated the best in the midsize category closely followed by the Kia Sorento and Nissan Murano. Hyundai and BMW were the biggest winners this year as they manage to nab the top spot for two segments each while Kia and Nissan both had one win.
