Who would have thought that a simple upgrade will give the Chevrolet Camaro such a huge advantage?
Chevrolet brought out the new 1LE package which will be offered in the Camaro V6 and thanks to the new package, the Chevrolet Camaro V6 with the 1LE package is able to take on powerful models like the Ford Mustang V6 and the Challenger Hellcat.
The Chevrolet Camaro 1LE managed to finish the lightning lap in 3minutes and 4 seconds. The Mustang V6 previous record was 3 minutes and 12.5 seconds. While it did not beat the Hellcat, it was only behind by 0.5 seconds and that is with its 335hp engine. The Dodge Hellcat is powered by a 707hp engine.
The Chevrolet Camaro with the 1LE performance package will come with a 3.6-liter engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual and will come with tons of upgrades including the 20inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels, Brembo 4-piston front brake calipers and more.
