It looks like the smooth arrival that the Bolt is hoping for is not going to happen now that Chrysler has proof that their Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is going to be a real threat and people should take it seriously.
The numbers are out for the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and according to EPA, the new hybrid model will be able to offer about 33miles of electric range and has a fuel efficiency rate of 84MPGe. Chrysler is able to do all these thanks to the 16kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery pack that is powering both the electric motors. The motors will be working with the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine. The combination will give the vehicle 260hp in total.
The Bolt, on the other hand, will come with a 20hp engine that will be powered y a 60kWh lithium-ion battery. It will have a range of 238miles in total. Who do you think will win the hearts of the green car drivers?
