The BMW X3, X4, X5, and X6 will all be affected by the latest BMW recalls. BMW issued two recalls recently.
The first recall will affect the BMW X3 and BMW X4. According to the report, the lower child seat anchor bar on the BMW X3 and BMW X4 might get damage when it is used with the European-type ISOFIX connectors.
The recall will affect a total of 188,668 units. The BMW X3 and X4 affected by the model will include the 2011 models up until the 2017 models. Affected models will be fitted with a reinforcing bracket which will be welded to the lower anchor bars,
The other recall which will be affecting the BMW X5 and X6 is related to the universal joint on the front driveshaft of both models. According to the report, the front driveshaft might have leaking issues where water and debris can enter and damage the driveshaft.
21,493 units of the BMW X5 and X6 will be affected by the recall. Like the first recall, the affected models will be the ones from 2011 up until 2017. Affected models will get called in to get their front driveshaft replaced.
