When it comes to electric powered models, the upgrade that most people would like to see is the battery size and the electric range of the vehicle and that is exactly what BMW worked on when they upgraded the 2017 BMW i3.
The previous BMW i3 was fitted with a 22kWh battery pack that would allow the BMW i3 to go for about 81miles of range. The 2017 BMW i3, on the other hand, will come in with a larger 33kWh battery that will allow the BMW i3 to go about 114miles of range.
While the battery will come with a bigger capacity now, the size of the battery pack will remain the same. Like before, the 2017 model will also come with a Range Extender.
With a Level 2 charger, the 2017 BMW i3 will need about 4.5hours to charge. The 2017 BMW i3 will also come with standard features like auto climate control, LED head lights, Navigation business system and more.
