2017 BMW 230i, 330i, 430i Makes Even Less Sense Now

Remember the day when BMW’s name actually made sense? Well, it looks like things are going from bad to worse now as BMW reveals their engine upgrade plans for their 2017 models.

The 2017 BMW models will be fitted with two new engine option. There is the 2.0 liter four cylinder engine which will be fitted under all 30i model and a single-turbo six engine that will be fitted to the 40i model.

So how does that change the lineup? Well, the BMW 2-Series will now consist of two models, the 230i, and the M240i. The 230i will deliver about 248hp while the M240i will deliver about 335hp.

The BMW 3 Series will keep the 320i sedan while the 328i will be replaced by the 330i. The BMW 4 Series will also receive a similar engine upgrade for 2017. If you were confused by the name in the past, get ready to be even more confuse now.
