We know that the new Audi A4 is based on the Audi A4 and while the A5 does look a lot like the Audi A4, Audi is telling us at it is an all-new model. So can you spot the difference?
Well, the key is with the headlights. By giving the Audi A5 a new set of headlights with a new design, they are ensuring that the Audi A5 will come with a unique face of its own.
Under the hood of the Audi A5 is a 2.0-liter petrol engine that will be delivering about 187hp. There is also a few diesel options as well as a 248hp 2.0-liter petrol engine. Those looking for more can also opt for the 3.0 liter V6 TDi engine that will be delivering 215hp or 268hp. The engines will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Besides showing off the new Audi A5, Audi also took the covers off the Audi S5 model which will be powered by a new 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 engine that will be delivering about 350hp. The new Audi S5 will only need 4.7seconds to go from 0-62mph.
