It was initially announced that Alfa Romeo would be offering a new SUV this year but it looks like that will not be happening as Alfa Romeo announce some of the changes they will be making to their original plan.
The original plan was to release a new Alfa Romeo SUV this year but it looks like we will only be getting the SUV next year as Alfa Romeo confirmed that their R&D, product investment, and manufacturing will be reduced until 2018.
Because of that, the Alfa Romeo SUV will be pushed back to 2017. The change of plan will not only affect the SUV model but also the six other models that Alfa Romeo was supposed to release after the Alfa Romeo SUV.
There is not a lot of details on what the SUV will be offering but it is believed that the Alfa Romeo SUV will be coming in with a 2.2-liter diesel engine, as well as a 2.0-liter petrol and 2.9-liter twin turbo V6 engine option.
