Just like the Acura NSX, the new 2017 Acura MDX will be coming in with the same hybrid tech but unlike the NSX, this will not be powered by a 191mph engine. What you get in return in a tamer daily car that has a little more space on the inside.
The Acura MDX will be coming in with the SH-AWD system where the 3.0-liter V6 engine will be working with three electric motors to give the Acura MDX Sport Hybrid the power it needs. The powertrain will offer about 321hp and 289lb ft of torque and it will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission handle.
According to Acura, the Acura MDX Sport Hybrid will return about 26mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway. Customers will get to choose from four driving modes including Comfort, Normal, Sport as well as Sport+. The new model will be arriving this April with a $52,935 price tag.
