The Toyota Yaris was given an upgrade last year that includes an upgrade exterior design as well as a more practical cabin. How will the upgrade Yaris fare against the Honda Fit?
The Toyota Yaris comes in with a 1.5-liter engine that will be delivering about 106hp and 103lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission and will return about 30mpg in the city and 37mpg on the highway. The Toyota Yaris will also come with safety features like ABS, DRL, traction control,tire pressure monitor and stability control.
The Honda Fit will be powered by a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Honda Fit will deliver about 130hp and 114lb ft of torque and will return about 29mpg in the city and 37mpg on the highway. The Honda Fit will also come with the same list of safety features along with a back-up camera and child safety rear door locks.
The Toyota Yaris will retail for $14,895 while the Honda Fit will retail for $15,890.
