We knew that the Toyota Tacoma will be a formidable opponent but we did not think that the new Chevrolet Colorado would have such a hard time beating them. It is not that the Colorado is better but we were expecting a closer fight between the two but it looks like Toyota is just too strong right now.
Under the hood of the Toyota Tacoma is a 2.7 liter four cylinder engine. Toyota also replaces the old 4.0-liter engine with a 3.5 liter V6 engine. In terms of fuel efficiency, the Chevrolet Colorado might have an upper hand but it looks like the consumers do not seem to mind.
The Toyota Tacoma will also be coming in with a few new features including the new Crawl Control features.
Some think that the slow production rate of the Colorado is one of the main reason why they are trailing behind the Toyota Tacoma.
