With Chevrolet working so hard to increase the production rate of their Chevrolet Colorado and all, you would think that they would start closing the gap between them and the Toyota Tacoma and that was true until Toyota stepped in to do something about it.
By adding a third shift at the Baja California plant,Toyota has managed to boost the production rate of the Toyota Tacoma and that help the Toyota stay ahead of the Colorado in April.
Selling about 18,105units in April, the Toyota Tacoma once against claims the top spot beating the Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon. Chevrolet will not be happy about it.
After everything, they have done to increase the production rate, the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon finally manage to hit about 13,389 units in April but it looks like that was not enough. Better luck next time.
