2016 Toyota Tacoma Continues To Climb

We think that things will start to slow down for the Toyota Tacoma now especially since January is listed as one of the slowest months for automakers but that is not the case as Toyota continues their steady climb all the way to the top.

According to Torque News, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma sales increase by an impressive 21% in January. Their closest rival, the Chevrolet Colorado experience a 7.3% drop in sales in the same month.

In total, Toyota manages to sell about 12,718 units of the Toyota Tacoma while GM only sold a total of 8148 units of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. This is when Colorado should be shining this is the month where the diesel powered models arrive at their dealers.

It looks like even with the new diesel engine and stunning design, the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon just does not have what it takes to take on the Toyota Tacoma.
