Most people would agree that the upgraded Toyota Prius is not an attractive model but if you can get past that exterior design, the Toyota Prius actually does have a lot to offer this time around.
The last Toyota Prius looked boring but this new model just looks plain bad. Looks aside, the new Toyota Prius does come with an improve fuel economy. The upgraded model will be powered by a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be pushing out about 150hp.
With the upgraded powertrain, the new Toyota Prius will be able to return about 54mpg in the city and 50mpg on the highway on average. Toyota is also offering the Eco model which will return about 58mpg in the city and 53mpg on the highway.
While it might not be the prettiest hybrid model in the market, its fuel economy will ensure that it stays on the top.
