The Toyota Prius has been getting a lot of heat ever since it came wearing its new exterior design but it looks like none of that will matter anymore now that Consumer Reports has tested and announced that the Toyota Prius is the most fuel-efficient hybrid in the market.
After testing out the new Toyota Prius, Consumer Report reported that the 2016 Toyota Prius is able to return about 52mpg beating the previous winner, the Honda Insight which returned about 51mpg. The previous Toyota Prius delivered only 44mpg so that is quite a jump from Toyota.
Of course, 52mpg might be nothing if you compare it to the other electric powered models in the market but then again, you don’t need to sit around and wait for your Prius to charge up.
Well, maybe people will start forgiving them for ruining the exterior of the Toyota Prius now.
