MG has just unveiled their new MG GS SUV at the London Motor Show this week. How will the new SUV fare against models like the Subaru Crosstrek? Let’s find out.
The Subaru Crosstrek will be coming in with a 2.0 liter Flat 4 engine that will allow the vehicle to deliver about 148hp and 145lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission and will return about 23mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. The Crosstrek will come with safety features like DRL, emergency braking assist, engine immobilizer and more. The base model will retail for $24,997.
MG GS recently reveal that the vehicle will be coming in with a 1.5 liter turbocharged petrol engine. They also revealed that the top range models will be offered the DCT gearbox option. We are still waiting for more details to arrive included the features and also the price tag. It is estimated that the MG GS will retail for $21,730.
