Both the Subaru BRZ and the Mazda MX-5 has the power to offer and the best part of it all is that their customers won’t have to break their bank to own one. However, if there can only be one on the top, who do you think it should be?
The Subaru BRZ will be coming in with a 2.0 liter Flat 4 engine that will be delivering about 200hp and 151lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and will return about 22mpg in the city and 30mpg on the highway. The base model will also come with safety features like DRL, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, post-collision safety system and more.
The Mazda MX-5, on the other hand, will come with a 2.0 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 155hp and 148lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and will return about 27mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway. The base model will come with safety features like DRL, emergency braking assist, traction control and more.
The Subaru BRZ base model will retail for $28,979 while the Mazda MX-5 will retail for $29,565.
