The fact is that the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ are the same models. Both of them will be powered by the same engine, and will be riding on the same platform. In fact, both of them also looks the same so how do you pick the one?
The Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S both comes running on a 2.0 liter Flat 4 engine that will be pushing out about 200hp and 151lb ft of torque. Both engines will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and will both return about 22mpg in the city and 30mpg on the highway.
If you look close enough, there is a slight difference on the outside as well as the interior. The Subaru BRZ will also come with a longer list of interior features and tech compared to the Scion FR-S but it will cost you.
