It might not look like it but the new Audi R8 V10 Plus is definitely brand new. Audi kept most of the design but under it, all is a brand new model. How will the Audi R8 fare against the Porsche 911 Turbo S?
The Audi R8 V10 Plus will be coming in with a 5.2 liter V10 engine that will be delivering about 602bhp and will be mated to a seven-speed twin clutch transmission. The Porsche 911, on the other hand, will come with a 3.8 liter flat six engine that will be delivering about 552bhp and 750Nm of torque and will also be paired with a seven-speed twin clutch transmission.
The Audi R8 will need 2.9 seconds to go from 0-60mph with a top speed of 205mph while the Porsche 911 Turbo S will only need 2.8seconds to go from 0-60mph with a top speed of 198mph.
Both models will come with features like climate control, heated seats, and LED lights although the Audi R8 will come with an additional Keyless go feature.
The Audi R8 base model will retail for £134,500 while the Porsche 911 will retail for £143,045.
