The Mazda CX-9 will be coming in with a 2.5 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 227hp and 310lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed shiftable auto transmission and will return about 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway. The base model will also come with safety features like LED headlamp, traction control, post-collision safety system and more.
The base Honda Pilot will retail for $38,755 while the Mazda CX-9 will retail for $36,870.
