The 2016 Mazda CX-9 should go a little further thanks to some of the upgrades that Mazda gave the Mazda CX-9. But how much further are we talking about?
Before Mazda released the EPA number, NRCan took the Mazda CX-9 and tested it out. They came out with a conclusion that the Mazda CX-9 was going to come in with 35% improvement over the last month but how much is that?
Well, the EPA numbers are in. According to Mazda, the Mazda CX-9 with the front wheel drive system will return about 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway. The all wheel drive model will return about 21mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway.
The Mazda CX-9 will be running on a 2.5 liter Skyactiv-G turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 250hp and 310lb ft of torque.
