Mazda CX-9 drivers will be able to see further now with the upgraded headlights. According to Mazda, the Mazda CX-9 will be coming in with a high-tech LED lighting. Mazda also proudly added that the Mazda CX-9 is currently the only midsize three-row SUV with standard LED lights.
Mazda explained that the 900 lumens per unit that the low-beam headlights will be producing is two times more than what a halogen headlight will be delivering making the LED lights 35% brighter than the standard halogen lights. The LED will also allow the drivers to see 10% further than the Xenon HID unit.
Other benefits of having LED lights instead of Halogen is that LED lights up faster. They also added that the LED lights are cooler than the Halogen or xenon lights so the lights should last a lot longer.
The 2016 Mazda CX-9 will retail for $31,520.
