The Mazda 3 with its new design and engine upgrade very well received. If you are looking to save more, the 2.0 liter should be alright but for those looking to enjoy the driving experience more, the model with the 2.5-liter engine should be a better option. The question now is whether the 2.5 liter is worth upgrading to.
The 2.0-liter model is able to offer about 155hp and 150lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission although an auto transmission will also be offered. The 2.0-liter engine powered model will need 7.8 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
The 2.5-liter engine, on the other hand, will come mated to an auto transmission. the engine will be delivering about 184hp and 185lb ft of torque and will only need 6.9 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
The base model will retail for $17,845 while the Grand Touring model with the 2.5-liter engine will retail for $26,615.
