Maserati will be issuing a recall to recall back the Maserati Ghibli after they found out that a manufacturing error might cause the vehicle to lose control.
The Maserati Ghibli is not the only one affected by the recall. The Maserati Quattroporte will also be affected. According to the report, the bolt that was used to secure the tie-rod to the hub carrier assembly in the rear suspension were not tightened properly. This might lead to the suspension failing and thus causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
A total of 26,464 units will be affected by this recall. Affected models will be the 2014 -2016 models that were made between the 1st of February 2013 until the 18th of September 2015.
Affected models will be getting a hub carrier assembly replacement if necessary. Maserati added that they are not aware of any accidents or injuries that have been caused by this issue.
